The Julia M - a Damen Multicat 10x5 - has been in service with GSS for some time. She has proven herself time and again on various different tasks and is extremely versatile. Continuous improvements over the years have given the Julia M a superior specification. The most recent introduction is that of a new 20m crane. The Atlas Hiab now gives the Julia M a lifting capacity over the bow of 6 tons. Complementing the crane is a 2 tonne deck winch. Julia M is capable of carrying 14 tons on her deck. Propulsion comes from a 180 hp GM diesel giving her a top speed of 6 knots and a bollard pull of 2 tons

Julia M has a 4.5 ton fuel capacity which is transferable at speed through a calibrated meter. She is equipped with all of the electronic hardware required for sustained coastal work.
