Launched in May 1999 she is a 15 metre multi purpose work vessel.
Although loosely based around the tried and tested multicat format she is a one off.
Mary M is the product of many hours of painstaking design collaboration. The architect was assisted by Angus MacNeil (MD) and Colin Grant her skipper. She is in fact the product of 40 years combined experience within the marine industry.
Propulsion is supplied from two 250hp GM diesels giving her a top speed of 9 kts and a bollard pull of 4.5 tons.
A 13 ton fuel capacity which is transferable at speed through a calibrated meter.
Power requirements are met by a 8kva generator providing either 110 or 240 volts.
This vessel is also equipped with all the latest communication and navigation expected of a modern working vessel.
The Mary M specification includes: A 30 ton/mtr Copma crane, giving her a lifting capacity of 12000kg at 2.4m, full reach is 12m allowing a lifting capacity of 2080kg.
Complementing the crane Mary M is equipped with a deck mounted Spencer Carter winch with an 18 ton capacity.
The exacting specifications enable her to carry 30 tons on deck.
