The Martine P is one of the GSS fleet’s largest vessels, at 26.48m, with a beam of 11m, and has a deck load capability of 6 tonnes per square metre. It’s capable of carrying 12 passengers, with heated and air conditioned cabins for up to seven people. Equipped with fore and aft cranes, it has three winches of up to 100 tons and a bollard pull of 33 tonnes.
The Mena C Euro Carrier 2611 is built to the same specifications as the Martine P and, like its sister ship, is capable of 10 knots with lifting capacity of up to 26 tons from forward and aft cranes. It is equipped with a full range of navigation and communication facilities.
The Ellen K is one of the GSS fleet’s largest vessels, at 26.48m, with a beam of 11m, and has a deck load capability of 6 tonnes per square metre. The Fiona F is one of the GSS fleet’s three largest and most robust vessels. It has forward and aft cranes capable of lifting up to 25 and 26 tonnes, and winches rated up to 80 tonnes. The 26.48m vessel can carry up to 12 passengers, with cabin capacity for seven, and is capable of 10 knots with a bollard pull of 33 tonnes.
A Eurocarrier 2510 launched in 2010, the Aileen M can work up to 150 miles offshore and is designed with a narrow-footprint superstructure to maximise clear deckspace for a working platform that can take a load of 3.5 tons per square metre and is equipped with a crane capable of lifting 9000kg.
The Iona M is a Euro Carrier 2395 with a 70-ton winch and 10-ton tugger winch. The 23.95m X 9.54m twin screw vessel is capable of 10 knots and has a 25 tonne bollard pull. Deck space amounts to about 95m2.
The Sandy M, a Euro Carrier 2395, is a multi purpose vessel with a length of 23.95m and a beam of 9.54m, equipped with crane and 70-ton twin drum winch and with a wide roller at the bow, making it ideal for anchor handling. It’s capable of 10 knots.
A Eurocarrier 22, the Morag M was launched in 2009, the second of three vessels commissioned from Neptune Marine in Holland, with a bollard pull of 16 tonnes and rated to work up to 60 miles offshore.
The Maggie M was GSS’ first Eurocarrier 22, built by Neptune Marine in 2008, with a range of lifting equipment which makes her suitable for all types of marine construction and maintenance as well as wind farm operations.
